Question
QUESTION: My heater/AC fan blower will not come on. What could be the cause?
Where is the fan located at? Please help ! When I turn the A/C on I hear the A/C pump comes on and you can feel cold at the vents, but, it does not blow. It get hot here in the valley.
Thank you
HL

ANSWER: I have the same year same model, the fan is located underneath by the passenger side dash console It could be a loose connection or a fuse check your fuses first then id replace the a/c drier unit check to see if that works also a new thermostat. There is also a relay in the glove compartment by the fuel pressure relay check to see if your auxillary fan works with heat

QUESTION: Shane, when you say the thermostat are you talking about the one that controls the water to the engine? Or are you talking about climate control thermostat?
Thanks
Hector.

Answer
I am talking about the bell housing thermostat, if you are working with A MB generally they have a coolant contal thermostat and sensor valve which opens up during hot procedures and closes during cold its all the same the dial is just a dummy switch that turns up and regulates the valve on the actual thermostat to let the radiator fluid go one way or another. Think about it this way.. Your air you think it is cooled is not really cooled but actually hot and it hits freon or your AC circuit before it cooled ....so your valve and or your a/c drier might be toat thats why I ask If you actual heat works to your fan just to isolate your problem
