Mercedes Benz repair: vacuum system ESO valve, thermo vacuum, vacuum leaks

Question
1982 mbz3ootd, I am wriiting again to determine how much vacuun pressure should be in the hose connected to the ESO valve.  During last trial, removal of the brown hose the suction was very minimal, and the engine shut down quicker than when the hose was atached.  Also, is the ESO and the Brake Booster vac system tied together directly or indirectly?  The brake pedal test I performned was succsfull, in which the pedal moved very slightly upon engine starting .  Also the door locks are intermitern going up / down...

I am trying to perfom all the troubleshooting possible before the expense of replacing the ESO valve!!

Thank you..

Answer
Very confused.
ESO = Electronic Shut-Off Valve?

Which valve are you referring to?
Elect. Change-Over Valve
AT Modulator Valve...
EGR Valve
Inj. Pump Vacuum Valve...
Mono Valve Repair Kit
Shut-Off Valve...
Thermo-Vacuum Valve...
Vacuum Change-Over Valve...
Vacuum Check Valve...
Vacuum Pump Check Valve
Vacuum Valve : 3/2 Way

Your vacuum pump should be producing at least thirteen inches of vacuum.
If the Vacuum Check Valve, vacuum pump, vacuum reservoir or some vacuum hoses are bad, the system can never build enough vacuum for proper function.

Symptoms sound like several vacuum leaks.
