MG Car Repair: 1973 MG Midget, roadster factory, shock systems

I do not like the carbs on this car.  I would like to use something else that would be easier to tune
I also wonder if there is a suspension upgrade available to get rid of the oil shocks that are on the car now.  Maybe a coilspring kit or at least something to get rid of those heavy leaking oem shocks.

There are other carbs and shock systems available from some of the parts distributors like Moss Motors, The Roadster Factory, Victoria British, Engel Imports and British Parts North West. They each have web sites and toll free numbers.
