MG Car Repair: water pump, clutch fan, fan clutch

How do i remove  clutch fan from water pump on a 1975 mg midget.

Hi Kevin,
The fan clutch is pressed on a crushable sleeve. If you don't have the special tool to remove it and it is bad You can drive a wedge in behind it to force it off. The crushable sleeve can not be reused but one is usually supplied with a new fan clutch.
