Mitsubishi Repair: dash gauges, mitsubishi lancer, electrical connections

Hi for the last few months ALL my dash gauges click off while I am driving so I don't know how fast I am going or how much petrol I have or my reves or kms , what temp the engine is or  and then some time later some times days it will all come back on , just seeing if this is a fault of the car I have a mitsubishi lancer coup vrx 2000 maunal. also my headlight warning sound doesn't work eithor !!!!!

I would guess you have a bad harness connection to your dashboard gauge assembly.  It may be just a little loose, which is why it may erratically function.  Have your mechanic inspect the electrical connections for the dash gauges.
