Mitsubishi Repair: altenator, mitsubishi galant, altenator

1994 mitsubishi galant ls 4cyl automatic.The altenator will not charge the battery when the engine warms up to operating temperature.The altenator has been rebuilt (twice)it charges good on the bench,but when installed stops charging when engine reaches operating temp.The wires between it and the battery check good.It has a new battery.

If the voltage across the battery while the engine is running is below 14.5 volts, then there may be an improper ground or short circuit somewhere in the charging system.  Check the cables from the battery to the starter motor and all of the fuses associated directly with the battery and alternator.
