Mitsubishi Repair: 2002 Magna Stalling, fire front, poor fuel

My 2002 Magna has started stalling/cutting out whilst driving and/or idle whilst at traffic lights etc. I have always been able to start it straight away but tonight it wouldn't start after cutting out reversing out of my driveway. It started after leaving it for approx 2 mins, I have noticed a burning smell but see no evidence of anything melting or on fire( front brsakes need replacing too)

These symptoms can be caused by a number of things.  Bad spark plugs or other ignition components, poor fuel supply, or poor air supply can all be contributors.  It may best be to have a mechanic check these areas to narrow it down.
