HI,MY MUM HAS A 1992 MITSUBISHI MAGNA STATION WAGON & SHE IS GOING ON A TRIP & WOULD LIKE TO KNOW,ONCE THE FUEL LIGHT COMES ON,ABOUT HOW MANY KILOMETERS IS THERE LEFT IN THE FUEL TANK? I HOPE YOU CAN HELP,I CANT FIND THE ANSWER ANYWHERE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME,STACEY

Stacey: Would love to help you, but it is really up to the car. What your Mum needs to do, is to run the car down to that light and have a friend follow her with a tank with some fuel in for when she runs out. Only then will she know what her car can do. It is not only up to the car but how your Mum drives it. Everyone is a bit different there too. Some zip up to a stop sign or red light then jumps on the brakes, but others start to slow down some before they come up to that stop sign. Which saves on fuel, the slowing down before not jumping on the brakes. Still if the wind is blowing, like a head wind or there is a bit of storm the day that she is traveling all that works against that fuel mileage. But if she drives the car, herself once the light comes on and then sees for herself when she runs out of fuel well then she will know. Surely she has done this once or twice in her life? In that she knew how far she went before the car run out of fuel? Oh well gee, I do wish I could help you more but this is one that your Mum will have to find out and then she will know for sure, but also remember the lesson. God bless: Linda
