Mitsubishi Repair: 95 Eclipse Nonturbo Hesitation, spark plug wires, eclipse gs

Question
I have a 1995 Eclipse GS which is the non turbo version (420a). When driving I get a hesitation / jerking coming from my car when over 2000 rpm and near wide open throttle. If I pull back on the throttle it lessens and if I'm below 2k rpms either it disappears or I cant feel it anymore. I think it might be a misfire in a cylinder but I'm not sure. In any case I replaced the Spark plugs, the spark plug wires, I tested the ignition coil and it came out fine. I did the test where you pull power to the injectors one at a time to test if they are working and they all were (sorry for the terrible description). I also did a compression test on all the cylinders at came back with 170-180 psi on all of them. Im running out of ideas. Can you point me anywhere?

Answer
Aaron: Have you had the car coded as to rule out any problem with the computer or sensors? If not, then I would do that. Have you had the timing belt changed at 60,000 miles? As it might need to be changed. Also have you changed the distributor cap and rotor? So try these and see if they will help you. God bless: Linda
