Mitsubishi Repair: srs light on, mitsubishi diamante, hazard lights

srs light has come on dashboard whislt driving and now indicators wont go. all other electrical working o.k. even hazard lights. (mitsubishi diamante 1996 espada)

The sensors associated with the air bag system are very sensitive.  Whatever caused the indicators to go out could have also caused the SRS light to come on.  Have your mechanic inspect the switch in the steering column for any malfunction or short circuit.  You will also need to have to your SRS light reset.  If the light comes back on after it is reset, then the air bag system will need to be inspected as well.
