Mitsubishi Repair: 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS, mitsubishi eclipse, newer cars

Question
I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS that won't start.  It was working fine.  I came out of work, tried to crank and it did nothing.  The interior lights were on but car would not turn over.  I got jumped off, worked, then same thing happened.  Also noticed that remote car lock was having issue.  It locked car but lights and horn did not go off when I set alarm.  What is going on?  Is it the battery or the alarm relay???  Please help.

Answer
Candice: With these newer cars you got to becareful getting them jumped to get them started. As you can mess up things like the locks, radio and what not. You need to take your car into a shop and see what it will not start it's self. You might need a new battery, alternator, starter. Or look at the cables that hook to the battery, so they have white dust around them where they hook to the battery? As they might just need a good cleaning. But you really need to get a shop to look have them check your car over. Hope this helps and good luck. Linda
