Mitsubishi Repair: Total cost to change the Timing Belt?, mitsubishi eclipse gt, good evening and good luck

I have 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT__V6 N 3.0 L.
ENGINE SERVICE SOON light is on and the mileage in my car is 119000 miles.

I wanna change my Timing Belt...Just wanna know how much it will cost to change????

DeeL: Who told you that your timing belt is bad? With the engine service soon light it could be a sensor or a problem with your computer in your car. I would have the car coded to rule out anything like that before getting the timing belt changed, AutoZone will code your car for free and then you would have a read out of everything like that. But the timing belt might cost you around $25.00 to $30.00 but the labor is what is going to hurt. They have to take the car engine apart to get to the timing belt. I mean your car is only a 2000 model, so 7 years old and not a lot of miles on it. So why do you think your problem is your car's timing belt? Every shop is different as to what they charge for labor, you will have to check around in your area to know what it will cost you. I wish I could help you more but that is how it goes.
