Mitsubishi Repair: Mitsubishi Eclipse Sunroof, mitusbishi eclipse, drain holes

Question
My son has a 1997 Mitusbishi Eclipse GS that has developed a sunroof leak.  The previous owner had the seal changed about a year ago.  I have been told that it is possible plugged drains as it leaked in two places.  An autobody friend said he could blow them out but needs to know where the drains are located at the bottom of the car.  He states they have to be blown from the bottom up because blowing in the opposite direction may further clog the drains?  Can you tell me where the drains are located and does it matter in which direction air is blown through them?
Thank You,
bj

Answer
BJ,
For the most part, it does matter in which direction the clogged is blown out.  It much easier to push a clog out through the entrance rahter than trying to force it all the way through the exit.  From my experience with the new Eclipses, the drain hole for the sunroof are located in or near the door edges. Your autobody friend may find the drain holes there.

But there should be several drain holes in the sunroof seal.  One idea to find exactly where the drain holes are is to mix some water with a some food coloring and pour it over and around the sunroof.  You'll be able to see where the water drains by the color of the puddles it'll leave around the drain exits.
Good luck!
