Motorcycle Repair: HD 2007 XL1200C brake light stays on

My HD 2007 XL1200C brake light stays on all the time.  Bike is like new with only 5300 miles.  Has been well taken care of and garage kept. I replaced bulb and short harness that holds bulb. I sprayed WD40 into front lever. That didn't work.

What do I need to do?

There is a brake light switch on the handle bars inside the switch housing. Loosen the housing screws and push the switch housing to the left until it is up against's the brake reservoir, then tighten the screws. That is all. This happens all the time.
