im having a difficult time finding a replacement engine for my 1994 Yamaha yzf 750.what other year(s)can i use ,if any?

Hi Kevin,

the only engine swaps I am aware of are the FZR1000 or the 2002/2003 R1 engines.
Both of these conversions require some modifications to the engine mounts
with the FZR needing head supports. The first R1 are fuel injected but motor
mounts are close. The FZR can be used with carburetors.

Either way you will not be able to just drop the engine in as
some mods are necessary. Bikes are much different than
cars and engines are less flexible as far as fitting replacements go.
