Motorcycle Repair: atv wont start, fuse box, starter relay

i have a 2007 yamaha grizzly 400. put brand new fully charged battery in. checked leads from battery to starter relay.(good). checked fuses in relay and fuse box, all good. when i turn the key on, everything works but will not start, wont even click. dont know what to do now. thinking the starter relay is bad. can you please offer some help. Thanks

Michael, If you have a test light it will help you. Hook up the ground to the neg post on battery and touch the cable lead on the solenoid,the pos it should light up. Now test the lead to the starter. Hold the test light on this terminal and turn on key and hit the start button it should light up. If it does the starter may be bad. If it does'nt there are small wires that energize the solenoid. There should be power to one of these wires when the button is pushed the other is a ground. If the light works on the cable to the starter then remove the cable at the starter post and retest with the light to make sure power is getting to the starter. Also just a off the wall question,do you hear the solenoid click when the start button is pressed.
