Motorcycle Repair: water leak, honda steed, bill silver

hi.. sorry i forgot to tell u that my bike is a honda steed 400cc 2002 model.. actually i just want to know if i can replace the two water pipes that going out from the water pump without removing the engine from the frame?? coz a few drops of water falling down from the place where the pipes touche the pump. if yes, can u tell me what shall i do?? thanks!!

Sultan, I really don't have an answer for you on that particular question. I haven't worked on that bike and don't know if it is possible or not.

Best thing to do is to start removing it and see what happens. If there is interference, you might be able to just loosen/remove the engine mount bolts to allow the motor to move around sufficiently to allow removal.

Check for any online shop manuals of related models. That isn't a US model.
