Motorcycle Repair: 82 shovel clutch problems, clutch components, clutch lever

we replaced all clutch components even push rod and bearing when i pull clutch in and put it in gear it lunges forward why

Answer
Check your adjustment on the clutch. loosen the cable so you have slack on it. Then go to the adjuster in the center of the clutch. Turn it inward, just until it bottoms out and then outward 1/8 turn. then go to the cable and adjust it so you have about 1/8 inch play in the clutch lever
