Motorcycle Repair: sporster spedo fuse, blown fuse, speedo

I have a 1999 1200c and i tried to relocate my speedo. it was working fine on the test drive. when i went to start up the bike a little later my speedo would not work. im guessing its the fuse but i don't know where it is. could you please tell me where and which one to replace?

The fuses are located under the right cover or under the seat. There is no special fuse for the speedo. Check all the fuses for a blown fuse. If that is not the problem check the wiring connection to make sure it tight
