Motorcycle Repair: Honda CL350 piston rings...Help Please.., honda cl350, piston rings

I know this isn't your bike specialty but I need some help. I bought a set of standard piston rings for my 1972 CL350 and they sent me (5) not (6) rings and told me that was all I needed. I was told that my old standard set has been replaced with the set they sent me but I am not sure what to do with the new set??  The set is a pair of very thin rings, 2 larger rings ( one has a metal edge and the other is flat black), and the last ring is crimped like zig zag pattern. So, does on piston get 2 rings while the other gets 3, and which piston gets which??? Please, any info will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Since your bike is a twin, there is no way you can get an uneven number of rings for this bike.  Go back to where you bought them, and ask to speak to a manager or supervisor.  The person you spoke to, is obviously not interested in helping you.
