Motorcycle Repair: Changing the levers on a 2000 1200c sportster, clutch side, levers

Could you give me any advice on changing my levers(clutch & front brake), purchased some cool looking custom ones and ready to switch them over... Thanls a bunch, Tim

Both levers have a pin going through them, with a clip on the backside of the pin. Remove the clip. On the brake side pull the pin and replace the lever, the pin and the clip. On the clutch side, you will have to loosen the cable adjuster so the cable is shorter, then remove the clip and pin. the cable is held in by another pin. Once it back in adjust the cable so you have about 1/8 inch play in the clutch handle.
