Motorcycle Repair: 2000 buell blast, buell blast, excess gas

ok  i have excess gas leaking from carb probably from flooding it even after motorcycle is shut down continues to leak it does eventually stop  it has barely 2000 miles on it???

Check your fuel tap, it probably isn't shutting off the fuel flow when you turn off the motor. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe your Blast has a vacuum operated fuel tap; there should be a large hose going to the carb and a small hose going to the back of the tap. Vacuum from the carb opens a spring loaded diaphragm when the motor is running, allowing fuel to flow to the carb. If the spring is weak or there is a bit of dirt on the diaphragm or it is damaged, fuel can keep dripping through it after the motor is off.
