Motorcycle Repair: Remove fan from 1981 honda cx500 deluxe, 1981 honda cx500, radiator fan

please tell me how to remove the radiator fan from a 1981 honda cx500 deluxe motorcycle? also if i need a special tool.

What part are you having trouble with.  There's the bolt holding the fan to the shaft and the fan is splined to the shaft. If the slines are rusted, it may be difficult to remove without busting up the fan.  You will want to use some type of a bearing puller that supports the back of the fan so you don't pull the center out of it.
