Motorcycle Repair: Brakes, brake master cylinder, ape hangers

Question
Hello, I have an '83 FXR.  I just put on ape hangers and when i was bleeding the front brakes but they never built any resistance.  i Bled them exactly how the service manual says to do them and i got no joy.  There were no more air bubbles coming out of the bleeder valve.  I thought maybe to just keep the bleeder valve closed and to put on the gasket and the top of the brake master cylinder to see if i pumped it if it would build some pressure.  but it didn't. Any advice as to why this is happening would be awesome.

Answer
Keep bleeding them. the hole in the master cylinder it really small for the brake fluid to go through and it takes a long time to get all the air out. You may have to go through several fillings of the master cylinder before you are done
Good luck and happy riding
