Motorcycle Repair: labor rates, shift fork, clutch

Question
i have  a 92 honda cbr600f2, my bike pops out of second gear ,i was told it was the shifting drum i also need a new clutch, how much labor hours am i looking at? i already purchased the shifting drum and the new clutch and i need someone to install without taking advantage of me.How many labor hours am i looking at?

Answer
Booker, you have a bad shift drum and, based on my experience, you probably have a bent shift fork and the gears dogs have been rounded off and will probably need to be replaced.  To get to the transmission, you'll have to remove the engine from the frame and the lower cases have to be split.  You're probably looking at about 16-20 hours of labor but it will depend on how many other problems they find.
