QUESTION: Sorry I was talking about the wrong bike, it is an FLT 1340 evo not an FLH. What is the easiest way to drain the hydraulic lifters to be able to adjust. Also once in the lowest position and the rods are snug, is it an extra 1/2 turn for proper adjustment?

Answer
Even the bike you are refering to has solid pushrods. If you have adjustable pushrods then they have been changed.
To adjust them start at the front exhaust. Roatate the motor until the lifter is all the way down at the bottom of its stroke. Tighten up the pushrod so there is no play in it and let it sit for around 15 minutes so it will bleed down. Now check it. If you can turn the pushrod with your fingers its not bleed all the way, so turn it more until its tight and then wait the 15 minutes. Keep doing this until you cant turn it any more. Now back it off, just until you can turn it in your fingers and then 1 1/2 more turns. Do this for esch pushrod and you have them set
