Motorcycle Repair: harley clutch lever, clutch lever, good directions

Hi Mike,

How do I chaneg out the clutch lever on my 2007 Road King?? I don't have a service manual and this harley replacement part doesn't have very good directions.

Locate the cable adjuster and loosen it all the way, so there is slack in the cable. Looking at the lever you will see a pin going through it. At the bottom of the pin, where it goes through the lever, there is a clip. Remove it and slide the pin out. The slide the lever out. Replace the lever and put it back together. Adjust the cable so you have aboout 1/8 inch play in the lever and your good to go
