Motorcycle Repair: stator harness, plug hole, stator

my rotor drifted into my stator harness and wiped out my screws for the retainer due to a misplaced washer. I'm wondering if I can use an epoxy like lock weld to hold the harness in place. I tried getting the old screws out and that worked real well.

I an not sure if that will work. If it lets loose you might have the same problem.
Here is a solution that I hae done for the same problme. Go to the outside of the case where the plug goes through. Drill a hole through the case to the plug hole and tap it. Then you can put a allen head screw through it until it hits the plug and that will hold it in place. Make sure you dont put the allen head screw through the plug or you are taking a chance of shorting the wires.
