Motorcycle Repair: exhuast leak, suzuki gsx600f, carburetors

i have a 88 suzuki gsx600f just had carbs cleaned and on the way home it went thru a whole tank of gas in a hour..it seems that gas is leaking out of the exhuast. what would cause this

The carburetors were not cleaned correctly. The floats are either not adjusted right or are stuck open. If you went threw that much gas in that little time do not ride the bike anymore or even back to the place that did the cleaning. With that much fuel going threw the engine unburned it can wash the rings right off the pistons in result destroying your engine.
