is probably your best source of help with this non-Honda question. Go also to www.bikebandits.com for illustratons of the parts involved in the carburetion, ignition and charging systems, which may be the source of your problems. Go to the OEM parts option.

Assuming you really cleaned the carbs well, you could have pinholes in the carb diaphragms, a blocked fuel screen in the petcock (inside the fuel tank), blocked fuel passages inside the petcock, gas cap vent system blocked, vacuum leaks at any intake manifolds or vacuum lines, ignition module or trigger issues, loose connectors in the electrical system, low voltage in the electrical system, etc....

Do a full tune-up first... check compression, ignition timing, check spark plug caps for bad resistors (5k ohm), verify float levels, fuel flow to the carbs, fully charged battery and correct charging system output.

Drain carbs to see if you picked up some water or dirt in the float bowls....
