Motorcycle Repair: Ohm reading on plug wires, diffence, shovelhead

My bike started (81 shovelhead) to run like it was only on one cylinder. Took out the front plug seemed foulded.I changed plugs same thing.I used an ohm/multi meter got 1.5 for the short wire and 5.1 on the longer wire. Can't find any information if the length of the wire should be that much of a diffence pls let me know thanks

It also could be your coil too. Remove the coil and test it. On the primary side, where the wires connect, is sould test 3.3-3.7 OHMs. Secondary side, where the plug wire go, should test at 16,500-19,500. On the plug wires there is not test for that year, so I would just replae them.
