Motorcycle Repair: Converting 04 Heritage to Dual Disc Front, flstc heritage, fatbob

Question
Hi. . . I have a 2004 FLSTC Heritage, and I want to convert it to Dual front discs, I've got some discs (Unused,) about ten years old from a project bike I was building, and a pair of 'Lockheed' Calipers, it seems a waste not to use them and get the better braking performance for the new bike - What I need to know is: What else I need to buy (Or Scrounge,) to put it all together and get it working, I guess I'll need a new Master Cylinder (Wont I ?) and lines, but what else can I use the same wheel and Hub, ? - Cheers from 'Down Under' - FatBob

Answer
It would be a lot easier to go with the Harley caliper.  Check the Lockheed site for hardware/ brackets.  You have to go with the bigger bore master cylinder.  Yes you can use the same wheel but I don't know what you have for discs.  they have to have the same mounting design.  And of course you need lower leg for the right side with caliper mounts.
