Motorcycle Repair: 1980 xr80, point ignition, xr80

Hi Mark, my little xr80 won't start. I have checked fuel carby etc all OK I have heaps of compression for old bike. It has a spark but very light, I have checked plug, cap, ignition coil with low resistance as per manufactures manual. Now I checked the contact breaker point ignition  the gap Ok points clean and square this is about as far I can go so can you help me from here thanks Jack

I'm reading that everything is checking okay. Can you provide any history of this problem or other problems? Any periods of non-use or storage? Describe the appearance of the spark plug.

It helps to know how you determined things are okay so as I know if things were checked properly.
