Motorcycle Repair: mtororcycle, cyanosed, honda 750

yes my next question is that i took the battery off and had it charged and they said it was bad. if i buy a new battery and put it in there will the stator box cause it to go bad if it is bad and with the new battery will the voltage still read under 12.7 if the stator is BAD
i am sorry about these questions i am new at this it is my first bike and i am just tring my best to learn how to work on it thank you for all your help

i have a 1982 Honda 750 cruiser and the battery will not keep a charge and i know that it is not like a car and it does not have alternator but what would be causing it to not keep a charge i have changed the battery and checked the fusses on top next to the instrument cluster could there be another fusses or a cyanosed somewhere or what would you check next. thank you

chk the stator it is what charges your battery . while the bike is running chk the voltage at the battery with a volt meter ,it should show at least 12.7 volts.if not u have a bad stator o.k. p.s please leave feedback for me and you may also nominate if you choose to ok.

joshua i want you to do is,oldshool trick i ieanerd in motoyprcycle institute when it dies out take a very cold wrag wrap the rectifire in it once it cools downn the bike shoul start being, normal again as far as rumming i will get you going o,k
