Motorcycle Repair: Brake light not working, light switches, brake lever

We have a 1990 HD Electra Glide Classic. My brake light at one point was getting stuck on now it works when it chooses to.

Answer
You hve two brake light switches on your bike. one is under the front brake lever and the other is in the brake line for the rear. What you need to do if find ouot which one is causing the problem.
I would first disconnect the one for the rear and see if the problem continues. If it does then you know it the front one. If it doenst then you know its the one for the rear.
