I bought a used honda steed 400, but before I use it, I want to make it a full maintenance, would you say me what I need to do or change in my bike?

Hi Juan.

First thing, get the repair manual.  It has all of your maintainence specs, and to do a proper maintainence, you will need those specs.  www.repairmanuals.com has most every repair manual available, otherwise check with the dealership.

If you do not know when they were last done, then you will need to synchronize the carbs, change the oil, oil filter, air filter, lube the chain (if it's a chain drive bike), do the valve adjustment if the bike is at, near or over 50,000 miles and lube the cables.
