Motorcycle Repair: 2002 Suzuki Bandit 600, suzuki bandit 600, compression piston

Question
I have a 02 600 Bandit, I really want to know if i can install a turbo kit to the B6? There is one for the B12. I have read that the headers interchange. Could that kit be installed on the B6? I love to drag race, and i am looking to make more power. If no turbo, Could i acheive 100 horses on just motor, what upgrades could i do, i have the Jardine Slip-on exhaust.
Thanks, Geoff

Answer
Geoff, a turbo takes forged piston to run safley, without youll melt them down. Also the compression ratio will need to be dropped with any serious boost levels. Im also not postive and i have asked the turbo guy i know who makes them if the crank will hold. i would bet not it would take a beefier crank. ill post you a note when i recieve the info. the best bang for the buck is to bore it out far as you can go and yoshi cams. to bore that cylinder tho will take a replate and alot of machining. most of the times it cost more than the bike sorry to say. reasonbly cams and a good port job on the head and some wiseco high compression piston is in the mix. I am not sure about your 100 horses but im assuming you would like to add 100 ?  if so , and if it was me. yoshi stage one cams, wiseco high compression pistons, a good port job and nitous  :)  plenty of horses but plan on keeping the motor tip top and rering and rebearing it every year.
