Motorcycle Repair: 1996 CBR F3, honda service manual, cbr f3

Question
I bought a 1996 CBR F3 in non running condition.  The engine turns over but does not start.  The previous owner says the bike was sitting over the winter and after he got it started up again this spring it stalled while idling in his driveway and didn't start up again.   I took the carbs apart and they were spotless so i reassembled them.  I also replaced one of the coils and fuel pump becuase they were not up to par according to the honda service manual and my miltimeter.  I then noticed the bike is getting no spark in 2 of the cylinders and a very very weak spark every once in a while in the other two cylinders.  I should have checked them earlier... ohh well. My only guess would have been to replace the ignition timing sensor which i did since i dont have the proper voltage reader from honda, but still no luck.  I checked the grounds on the bike and they all were fine.  I checked for continuity between the coils and the Ignition Control Module and that was fine.  I assumed it was the ICM until i plugged mine into another F3 and it started right up without a problem.  So i have no idea what else it could be.  I dont know how much i trust what the previous owner's claim to the bike diing at idle, but either way right now i am totally stumped!  There is a local shop that i could take it to, but the waiting list is 3 weeks and they rip people off really badly so id rather not go there.

So here are my questions...
1)do you have any idea what it could be?

2)Are there any other triggers that could cuase no spark? maybe a trottle position sensor?

3) I have heard some rumors about the red start/stop switch having an affect on some things... my switch wont let the bike turn over in off, and will let the bike turn over in run.. could it be that somehow?

The bike was hit on the upper front left fairing where the mirror attaches to the bike.  The fairing broke and the upper fairing stay's mirror/windscreen braket bent about an inch.  All of the electronics on the bike such as the lighting work fine.  The bike turns over with the starter without a problem... Dont know if that could be anything but i thought id include it.

Answer
Hi Haig,

You ask....

Q:  "...do you have any idea what it could be?"

A:  I suspect the CDI (ECM) is defective. Maybe other problems are present, too.

Q:  "...Are there any other triggers that could cuase no spark? maybe a trottle position sensor?"

A:  Igintion pick-up coil and CDI controls ignition.

Q:  "...I have heard some rumors about the red start/stop switch having an affect on some things.... my switch wont let the bike turn over in off, and will let the bike turn over in run.. could it be that somehow?

A:  This switch is working properly as described.
