Motorcycle Repair: Carb Swap, sensers, buell

Mike, I am looking to convert my 1999 buell fuel injected engine to a carb. I am building a custom with the buell engine. It is a 1200cc from a 1999 Buell S3t. I like fuel injected bikes but it's a nightmare to hide all that wiring. My question is what do I need to do besides change the manifold and add a carb? Thanks for your help.

Your Buell right now runs be an EMC for fuel injection. What you are going to have to do is replace it for a non fuel injected bike. Changing over a bike from fuel injected to carb is a really big and expensive job and you also need some knowledge of wiring. It is alot more than just changing the manifold and carb. You have to do sonthing with all the sensers on the motor. i would suggest getting a sportster motor that is already has a carb and use it for your project.
