Motorcycle Repair: 1976 shavelhead pully removal, impact wrench, clutch

need to know how to remove pullys frome the primary to get behind to remove backing plate

Answer
You must be talking about the primary pully and the clutch to remove the inner primary.
You will need an impact wrench to remove the motor sprocket nut. Its 1 1/2 nut. To remove the clutch you will hav eot remove the nuts from the adjuster. Behind it you will find a large nut. Remove it. Its left handed threads. Now you will need a puller to remove the clutch hub. Once you have it off you can get to the inner primary. If you are removing the inner primary you have to remove the starter also
