CHRISTOPHER,MY HONDA CBR 400 WAS LEFT LYING UP FOR A YEAR WITH FUEL IN THE BOWLS.CAN YOU RECOMMEND A SOLUTION FOR CLEANING THE JETS/FUEL WAYS IN THE CARBS

Hi Declan.

A good soaking in carb cleaning solution and total replacement of all gaskets and o-rings in the carbs.  Basically a total rebuild.
 DO NOT, however, touch the mixture screws.
 Blow out the ports with compressed air when you are done cleaning the carbs.

You may need to repeat the soaking and cleaning once or twice to get them done right.
