Motorcycle Repair: oil pressure, oil pressure guage, vice grips

1987 SOFTAIL. JUST REPAIRED OIL PUMP. INSTALLED OIL PRESSURE GUAGE. APPROXIMATELEY WHAT SHOULD OIL PRESSURE BE? ALSO EXHAUST STUD TOTALLY STRIPPED, NO THREADS. IS THERE SOME KIND OF TRICK TO REMOVE IT, TO INSTALL NEW? THANKS

Riding down the road with the bike up to operating temp you shopuld be running around 15 to 20 lbs of oil pressure.
On the stud. the stud is threaded into the hole and sometimes they are a bear to get out. If you can get to it with vice grips you might try turning it out. If you cant get it out that way, you will probaby have to remove the head and drill it out.
