Motorcycle Repair: Honda CA engine swap, benly, vintage honda

Question
I have just found out that my 1966 Honda CA95 engine is toast. The Benly's frame is in great shape so I am on the hunt for an engine. I have found a CA160 (year unknown) engine and was wondering if this engine would fit in my CA95's frame. Vin of the CA160 engine is CA195E-4014647 while the Benly's vin is CA95E-5016407. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Bottom line is will the switch work? Thanks for your time.

Answer
Ned, the engines are more or less interchangeable, as they didn't really change the chassis very much. I would check a copy of the CA160/CA95 parts manuals to see which parts have changed. Benly parts have 200-215 parts codes (three middle numbers) and the CA160 is a 225, with related parts 216, perhaps. Be sure you are getting the whole engine assy, including side covers (alternator and kickstarter)

You will have to use different exhaust pipes, as the port angles on the two motors are different. Both engines run 6v systems.
