Motorcycle Repair: 1999 dyna wide glide, pease, dyna

My wide glide has 17,000 miles, recently the engine light comes on when I am in a high gear going slower. For example if Im doing 35 in 4th gear it lights. I shift to 3rd it goes off. Bike runs fine and is well maintained. Should I be concerned? Feel free to post this in case anyone else is having this problem.

The only way to tell what the problem is, is to take it into a shop that has a way to do a diagnosic. On here i have no way of knowing what the problem is. If it were my bike I would have it done, just for pease of mind.
