Motorcycle Repair: front forks aprilia rs 125, fork seals, fork oil

i have changed the fork seals, but i noticed that one insert drops up and down, and the other has a compresion against it wen you push on it, i have been told that one is for the compression and the other for the rebound but i have never heard off such a thing

A:  Suspension forks rebound by interior springs and dampen via fork oil and interior fluid ports, true.

I suspect a problem with the reassembly of the forks. Can't accurately say what happened without inspection.

I recommend having a local tech inspect the repairs for you for best results.
