Motorcycle Repair: HONDA F4i Electrical Problem, honda f4i, electrical diagnosis

HI Mike!
THankyou for your time. How are you:?

I left my parking lot tonight took a left turn no blinker went 100 yards and signaled right to stop at a bank. The engine almost stalled and idled very very low.

Got back on bike and did not notice anything because of the street lights but the head light where not working I noticed and engine dead yet again when now signaling to go left..It was weird.

PROBLEMS AND SIGNS ARE THESE>

Signal left or right the engine dies..

Signal lights are now lit up permanent.

Signal light indicators on display are lit up permanent,  along with solid red light and bright light indicator even though bright light is not activated.

Engine dies if I use the turn signals left or right.

Tried to turn off bike and restart 3 times but no change occured.

only small dim light coming from the headlight.
bright same thing if activated. Neither bright enough to make a differnce in sight.


That is alll the signs I see.

I took out the fuses and put back in and there was no change ..

Can You please help me if possible to fix this if you have and suggestions I would be very grateful ll

Hi Zach,

Inspect the wiring and electrical connectors for loose connections or wiring defects. Mice and squirrels love to chew wiring insulation.

Check chasis grounds for clean, tight connections.

Perform electrical diagnosis on suspected circuits and components.
