Motorcycle Repair: HONDA 350 EX 4X4 WONT SHIFT, honda atv, honda 350

Hello Mark, I have a honda atv 350 es 4x4 automatic. The bike starts normal but the gears can only be changed manually with a wrench and whatever gear you manually put it on cannot be changed by the shifting mechanism. Some people tell me it is something electrical in the shifting mechanisn and others tell me it has to do with the transmission. I checked the rear axle and one of the boots has a tear, can it be that it has lost all the fluid and the computer does not allow it to change in order to prevent further problems?

Could be... I would need to inspect the ATV to accurately diagnose the problem.

I recommend having a local tech inspect the problem for you. Avoid operating the ATV until it's repaired to prevent further damages.
