Motorcycle Repair: Help, lbs pressure, compression check

Question
I own a 83 sporty xlx and am having problems with the bike staying running. I thought I had a fuel problem so I changed out the filter which was dirty and cleaned out the carb but no go. I also did a compression check which came in at 90-95lbs and then a wet test which came in at 95-100 lbs pressure. This should still be enough compression for the bike to run but I am wondering if this is an electrical problem since the bike ran fine for 5 minutes but once it warmed up would start and stall again. Could this be a rectifer/coil problem? I did check for spark and had lots when I arced it plug of the cylinder.

Any help would be great...Thanks

Answer
First make sure you have a good battery. Start the bike and let it run until it shuts off. Now test the plugs and see if your getting a spark. If you are then you probably have a plugged jet in the carb. If you are not then test the coil and spark plugs wires. If they test fine then the ignition might be the problem.
Good luck and happy riding
