Motorcycle Repair: I have a 1965 Honda 450 twin..., motorcycle breakers, adjustment screws

Question
I have a 1965 Honda 450 twin black bomber. I cannot find parts for it in Australia, I am looking for a headlight assembly. Can you tell me where to shop?

Answer
Michelle, Ebay has a few listed. I think the number is 33120-283-000, which also fit the last of the CB77 and CL77s using the left-right adjustment function. I have inexpensive bulbs for the CB/CL77s, but they don't have the ear for the adjustment screws. They are the same diameter, however.

I checked with
www.westernhillshonda.com
33120-283-000 HEADLIGHT UNIT $72.95 They do ship worldwide, but that is a bit pricey in OZ dollars..

Search...
www.davidsilverspares  www.cmsnl.com and more locally www.vjmw.com. Send your email address through my website (www.vintagehonda.com) and I'll send the message along the VJMC list or you can place a wanted ad with them at www.vjmc.org or join the mailing list yourself.

I have seen motorcycle breakers down in OZ and NZ on the web, but that is a pretty old bike for them, I suppose.
