Motorcycle Repair: rear cylinder rich, rear cylinder, leakdown test

my shovel runs rich in the rear cylinder. new manifold seals dont change it. could timing be involved? thanks again, john

The richness you are refering to is probably from oil since you have a shovel motor. I would do a compression test and leakdown test and see where you stand. You are probably either getting oil from past the rings or from the valve guides.
